7.0 in 58:03.  8:17 avg pace.  Slow run and I didn't care about pace.  At the 1 mile mark I had a run in with a dog.  I wish I would have had a heart rate monitor on because I'm sure my heart rate shot right up.  Hate them.

Dang dogs. I hate it too when one comes after me, especially if it's big! But I guess it does give your adrenyl glands a workout. If you could just work it so someone would sic their dog on you toward the end of a race it might be handy.

Ewe. I don't really like to run by dogs that aren't on leashes either. That's enough to make you really nervous.
