5.10 miles.  I think I accidentally hit the stop button on the garmin after about 2 miles and I didn't realize it until about the halfway point.  So, I am a little unsure of the time.

Tried to do some intervals with this run to try and get used to running fast again.

I can't remeber what marathon you are training for but if you are interested you and your brother are welcome to come and join Michelle and myself for a long run tomorrow. We are meeting at the finish of Hobble creek at 5am and driving up to the 7 mile mark and warming up to the top then we are doing 4, 3, 2 ,1 mile at MP with a 2-3 min recovery for a total of 22 mile my the end.

Hey Josse. I would actually love to, but I don't think I'll be able to. Have fun though. I actually have no more races scheduled. It is kind of a letdown. How much do you keep running after you have finished your last race of the year? Do you scale way back?

From josse on Fri, Sep 12, 2008 at 19:59:47

Yes I go back to base building after my fall marathon and do lower mileage and some crosstraining. I will do this until Feb. and start training for a spring marathon. I thought you were doing TOU or SG?

From Jeff on Fri, Sep 12, 2008 at 20:09:35

No, no TOU or SG for me. I wish I was but my work/school schedule is not good for those two races. I just did the Mid-Mountain. It was a lot of fun and I was very happy about how it went. I took your advice and just had fun with it and it ended up being the 2nd fastest time I've run in a marathon.
